About St. Luke’s Hall
St. Luke’s Hall was built to be a social club for Bank of England staff, who were evacuated to Overton during WWII.
In 1946, the Bank of England gifted the hall to the village and it was owned and maintained by Overton Parish Council until 1993, when it became a charity (The St Luke’s Hall Club).
In 2024, the hall was fully refurbished, to complement the addition of a conservatory in 2021.
